Oh no! Owie owie owie. I’d send ice, but we haven’t got any in the freezer at all, I know because I was getting in a snit about it earlier while suffering pangs of dammed for a G&T. Would you like a bag of frozen organic oven chips instead?
A bag of frozen peas make a good cold compress.
My rugby playing daughter keeps a bag of really cheap ones in her freezer.
Hope the ankle recovers v soon.
I suspect it is karmic payback for stubbonly refusing to get in the frozen peas every time someone from the NHS has told me to. Which is a lot lately. The NHS seems to think a lot can be cured with frozen peas. And annoyingly, now they are right.
If it can be cured at home with frozen peas, that’s a win-win for the NHS. You’re not taking up any space at the doctors or hospital and they’re not having to buy expensive drugs to treat you with.
