On shocks and docs.

The doctor kept you waiting for 40 minutes this morning simply because, you discovered once you had actually made it into her office, she likes to chat.
This, however, is not important. What is important is that in between the five anecdotes about her own pregnancy which she managed to showhorn into the measuring and prodding that goes on in these sessions, she told you that in the next four weeks the Star is going to double in size.
Oh.
My.
God.
Is all you have to say about that.
I understand that shortly after doubling in size, the Star will then begin practicing soccer kicks and karate punches in between gymnastic flips. Get some sleep now.
The Star has not been backwards with the kicking up to now, actually. I think he may have run out of room for getting a really good thump in, though. He’s specialising in planting a foot in my ribs and just heaving at the mo.
Oh. my. God. too! I just realized what I missed from having a definitely non-chatty kind of doctor. I don’t know if it’s good or bad though.
Well, it annoyed me (only I am allowed to rabbit incescently on about my pregnancy).
Funnily enough, now we are at the end of the doubling phase, I have taken to wearing tighter tops. Loud and proud and all that. It’s quite fun.
I see you are a little further on than me. Any more surprises I should be looking out for?
